Hello

Wow, so much for being on a roll.  It's been forever since I updated so I figured now was as good a time as any. 

For starters  I no longer work at a hotel.  Thanks to a tip from a friend I applied for an office managers position and to my utter delight I was hired.  My new job is so different, but so much better.  I've actually been able to have  a life outside of work.  My stress level has gone down considerably.  Sadly it got to the point were I was doing my bosses job on top of my own with no form of compensation.  It took me awhile to accept that I didn't owe the hotel I worked at anything and therefore it was ok for me to look for something better.   My former boss had the nerve to act as if I was quitting to make her life difficult.  Regardless everything seems to have worked out well so far. 

According to my former coworker due to the fact that I was pretty much running the day to day operations of the front desk and office things have not worked out so well for my former boss.  The owner of the hotel has come down more times in the last two months than she did in the two and a half years I was working there.  Is it wrong that  I feel  a slightly vindicated by this?   

Hopefully I'll be able to post more often now that all my time isn't consumed by work.
